Perhaps most surprising is scuba diving at Mt. Storm Lake which is a thermal heated lake at an altitude of 3,244 feet, also located about an hour away. Sailing and windsurfing are also popular. Sailplane enthusiasts enjoy the strong March winds along the Allegheny Front.

Points of Interest in the area are: Smoke Hole Caverns, Seneca Rocks, Sites Homestead, Seneca Caverns, Top Kick’s Military Museum, Harper’s Old Country Store, Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, Spruce Knob (highest point in WV), Blackwater Falls, Cass Scenic Railroad, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Potomac Eagle Train, historic and Civil War sites.

"Stratosphere Cavern" is for the Adventurous Person, the one who enjoys rock climbing, caving, and hiking. Miniature golf & gemstone mining also available.
